USAA roles may offer remote or hybrid flexibility for active-duty military spouses consistent with applicable policy and business needs.The OpportunityAs a Financial Analyst Lead, you drive financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and expense management to address complex business challenges and support strategic decision-making. You provide advanced financial analysis and insights on key business drivers, mentor team members on complex financial processes, and help coordinate team priorities and workflow. Additionally, you ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain the integrity of financial operations while promoting continuous improvement and business performance.We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX or Charlotte, NC. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.What you'll do:Leads, develops, and motivates the team to provide advanced analytics and insights around key business drivers.Anticipates opportunities to tackle the most complex and / or unique business problems, providing proactive financial solutions with holistic and forward-looking perspectives to enable better decision making by senior management.Consistently interacts with senior management becoming their trusted advisor on all financial issues.Makes recommendations to solve short-term, as well as strategic financial business problems.Teaches and mentors others about complex financial processes, business drivers and systems ensuring information sharing and knowledge transfer.Reviews analysts work and assists management in assigning tasks and managing workflow.Leads initiatives to develop an integrated enterprise planning process from multiple companies and/or staff agency processes and technologies.Directs analyses and guides the development, enhancement, and implementation of critical processes, programs, and technologies.Anticipates opportunities and potential solutions, leads cross-functional teams through the problem resolution process, and advises senior management on issues.Acquires and applies expert knowledge of the business, its products and processes.Performs complex and often unique work assignments and problem resolution across multiple systems, functions, or processes.Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.What you have:Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience. 8 years of experience conducting complex analysis and providing actionable insights to various stakeholders. Experience using databases and applications to analyze complex business domains (for example: AI, including GenAI). Experience communicating key business and financial concepts that result in strategic decision making. What sets you apart:US military experience gained through military service or gained as a military spouse / domestic partner.Financial experience supporting technology.Experience submitting monthly accruals.Experience with monthly variance commentary.Advanced experience working in Apptio, Hyperion Essbase, and Oracle.Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $127,310 - $243,340.USAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role. Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
